Never really liked the Capri (U.K. one that is) but over time it has grown on me a little. I don't think the U.S. Capri would ever grow on me at all.
U.K. 1984 Capri.

This is perfectly fine to want.

Had one, miss it dearly even though it was probably the shittiest Fox body I've owned. It had holes in the floors to compliment the holes in the roof, but damned if that thing didn't pull like a damn freight train. I prefer the Capri to the Mustang, bubble hatch and all.

CAPRI!
I like my Capris. Just no fox bodies.

Mako V8 Capri. Thousand pounds lighter than a Fox, bone stock. And its packing a Boss 302.

1974 Ford Capri RS Cosworth looks pretty mean.
The Mk1 is looking rather tasty to me as a classic.

This is my Uncle's 85 right now. He's had it since 1984 and it's currently undergoing a restoration project with my cousin doing most of the work. Carb'd 302/5 speed - it originally had the 10-holes with the Cougar center caps in bright-ass pink, with a pink stripe along the rub strip. Kamei body kit was dealer-installed. So 80s it hurt.

Nahh. It actually makes perfect sense, a less common, different looking fox body, that's called a Capri... That's pretty damn Jalop.
I added the weird because alliteration.

I have always loved the capri much more than the early fox stang. Just does it for me in all kinds of ways the stang didnt

Yes! My dad and I have four between us, that black one above is his '75 MK II John Player Special, he has a real RS2600 race car and a Five Litre swapped Mk III. I have the sinhle rustiest Mk II that has an SHO V6 swap in the works.
The one you pictured on top is actually an RS 2600 with a mechanical injected Weslake V6, not a cosworth. Clear plastic fuel lines for the win.
